Hog Roast Oundle had the pleasure of catering at groom-to-be Sam’s super stag do. Sam’s best-man Luke had gone all out for the stag, he had asked Sam and bride-to-be Laura for a budget and splashed the cash within a few weeks! He had gone all out for his best friend.
As Friday night arrived the group of friends and family alike started at Sam’s house. They offered a cheeky pizza and then the pub crawl commenced. They had apparently ended up travelling all over the county to over 10 pubs, making it home worse for wear the early hours of Saturday morning! Saturday afternoon, saw the gang on a party bus travelling to a local show ground for fun and games at ‘total Wipeout’ inspired gaming tournament. Sam’s team were up against several other teams, many of which were other stag parties! After being battered and bruised as Sam and his super team were very competitive! Unfortunately, they did not win… but came a close second!
When the gang arrived back at Sam’s what was awaiting them? Hog Roast Oundle’s scrumptious hog roast! Luke had communicated with Hog Roast Oundle weeks leading up to the event so Hog Roast Oundle knew exactly where he needed to set up and where everything was.
Sam was thrilled. He had never experienced a Hog Roast before and was so excited to try it. The groom-to-be enjoyed a soft white bap filled to the brim with luscious pulled pork and stuffing topped with traditional sweet apple sauce. That was his first serving, he then came up a second time to try the cheese-topped roll with the sweet chilli sauce and later again to try the cheek. The cheek is said to be the best, most tender part. The all the times he came up either for food or for a chat, he would steal a piece of seriously satisfying crunchy crackling.
Hog Roast Oundle wishes Sam and the gang all the best for the upcoming wedding antiques! P.S. Hog Roast Oundle does wedding food!
