Well is the event was a garden party and it was chucking it down with rain throughout the team did very well. Throughout they were accommodating and helpful. We negotiated a site as close to the house as possible and they just got on with it. Serving at the agreed time. Cleared away without any fuss and left everywhere tidy.
Many positive comments were received from our guests so I was pleased. Would be very happy to recommend to others, although sorry I don’t do Trip Advisor, Trust Pilot, Google etc reviews and will certainly use you again ….. on a sunny day.

We had the best time at our family gathering on July 8th!
Ben and co arrived promptly at 10.30 as planned and set up their gazebo and cooking equipment very efficiently on the decked area with no fuss in spite of the intermittent showers! The food was prepared and ready for us as requested around 1pm - although Ben had already told us that he could present it slightly earlier or later according to our needs which was really helpful given the numbers of children involved in our party!
The food was absolutely delicious - the pork, chicken and lamb were so tasty with just the right level of spice - the salad was so fresh and the mac and cheese went down a storm! I would say that the fries were a great hit with the children - but the adults enjoyed them just as much! We had leftovers too which was all plated up beautifully and everyone enjoyed hearty suppers on their own turf!
Ben packed everything away just as efficiently and you wouldn’t know they'd been there. Such a wonderful afternoon for us all - thank you!

Thank you - we had a wonderful day and Kerry and Louis were just brilliant.
Everything was perfect - they arrived in good time, coped well with the cricket match, food smelt delicious as people were arriving, it was served exactly on time and they managed to cope with people who were late or got lost and arrived in the Islip near Oxford instead of Northampton.
At the end they left overs were packed up for us and have been enjoyed at home since.
Right from my first enquiry with you the company has been very efficient and clear in what it was able to do.
Your service is excellent and all the finishing touches just enhanced the event.
As an extended family we have gathered for several funerals recently so it was wonderful to be able to have such a happy occasion and such lovely food!

It was great not to have to organise the plates, cutlery and of course the clearing up afterwards. The bamboo is excellent as you don’t have to worry about a ‘bendy’ plate and cutlery.
Everyone loved the hog roast and stuffing, said it tasted really good. I think a couple of the men went back for 3rds.
The veggie option was good too.
Even some of the kids in the park next door were asking if they could have some!!
I would definitely recommend having your hog roast at a party, it creates a good vibe and makes the meal an event in itself.

The two members of staff arrived early, were ready for when the masses descended on them and had plenty spare for people to have seconds! I initially didn't want people to have to queue for their food, however the staff were so fantastic and attentive that it took barely any time at all for everyone to be fed - there was so much to go around that everyone was pleasantly surprised they could have seconds! Even our fussy eaters didn't have a bad word to say! - The Hog Roast in the evening not only tasted great but looked great too! I've used Spitting Pig Northamptonshire a few times times now and they haven't let me down once! The hog roast is always cooked to perfection especially the crackling which is extra crispy! Firstly I would like to extend a huge thank you to Paul and Lucy, they were a fantastic team and provided a wonderful service on the night of the event. Even when things didn't go to plan during the setup Paul and Lucy were calm and worked out solutions quickly without stress.
The hog roast really made the night and lots of people I've since spoken to that were there said it was the best hog roast they've ever had, high praise indeed!
I will definitely be using the Spitting Pig Northamptonshire again.

It was great! We thoroughly enjoyed it and so did our guests. We send our compliments to the Spitting Pig team who served us with professionalism, courteousness, patience and complete understanding for our situation, which required them to be agile and dynamic - they executed the delicious meal with aplomb.
One grandson said that they were lovely to him, and he was one of their first customers; another granddaughter said that she went back for seconds, after everyone else, and said that they were still really nice!

Thank you so much to Ben for a perfect hog roast on Saturday . We had changed the date several times due to COVID restrictions and Spitting Pig could not have been more helpful and accommodating .
Ben turned up when he said and the hog roast was served perfectly cooked and on time .The bread basket and accompaniments were great too.
Ben was polite and efficient , he cleared up and went without any guests even noticing .

I have had nothing but compliments from my family and friends about their food. If you are thinking about booking for your event stop thinking about it and do it!
Initially it might seem a bit pricey but it’s great value for money and quality is worth that little bit extra.

Sheila and I had the most fantastic time on 28th April. The hog roast, vegetables, salads, sausages and burgers went down a storm. And as for the desserts – they were out of this world. Everything went very smoothly and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food.
Timings went as agreed and all the catering staff were very polite and friendly. We’d also like to take this opportunity to say a special thanks to the assistance the guys gave when one of our guests tripped over and cut his head. They responded very quickly and took great pains to ensure that he was attended to. This extra attention certainly was appreciated.

It went great thanks, apart from the weather at least! The staff were really brilliant, very friendly and were quite happy setting up independently and everything. We had good feedback on the food, everyone enjoyed it and there was some left over so people could visit again (we didn’t have quite the turnout we expected due to the weather) and what was left they left behind. They certainly helped everything go smoothly on what was a manic day for us so if we ever need a hog roast in the future we’ll know who to come to.

Sorry not to have got back sooner (I work in a school so we had end of term chaos and then I was in Italy)
The food was excellent and popular with all my guests. The salads just as I wanted – not a mouthful of coleslaw in sight. Lovely to have warm potatoes. No bread rolls visible until everyone had eaten but perfect for those who went back for a late night top up – just as I wanted.
The hog was outstanding – lots of people commented on it and on the stuffing, crackling and apple sauce. We put the rest in the freezer and are still enjoying it – the sliced meat particularly.
Ben was great: efficient, helpful, patient and discreet.
I will definitely use you again if you are still around for my 70th
