Here in the UK, sunshine and warm weather is a combination that’s all too rare for us sun worshippers. So, when it does happen, you’d better make the most out of it!
Whether that means lazing about the garden with an ice-cool glass of lemonade (or something stronger), setting up the paddling pool for the kids or inviting the whole family over for a much-needed catch-up, trust us, there’s plenty of fun to be had when the weather is at it’s best – and Hog Roast Edgcote is always here to help make things even better when you need us. After all, nothing beats alfresco dining under blue skies, right?
With this in mind, our top-notch chefs have created a number of exciting menus for you and your loved ones to bond over this spring. From our trademark spit-roasted pigs with all of your favourite sides, including crackling, sage and onion stuffing and sweet homemade applesauce; to our gorgeous Gourmet BBQ Menu and Alfresco dining plan, complete with antipasti platters, there’s something for everyone at Hog Roast Edgcote!
Our varied and extensive meal plans are actually what attracted our most recent clients, Jeff and Annie, to us in the first place. The pair were in the midst of planning a large-scale family gathering when they realised that catering to everyone’s needs on their own would be just too hard. So, instead, they approached Hog Roast Edgcote and were delighted to learn that we can cater to vegetarian, vegan and gluten-intolerant guests just as easily as we can meat enthusiasts.
The couple’s event took place on the final day of the school Easter holidays, and Hog Roast Edgcote amazed everyone with our Alfresco spread.
Whole roasted free-range pork rolls and grilled vegetable and halloumi kebabs were accompanied by homemade heritage tomato and mozzarella salad, a selection of seasonal leaves, zesty coleslaw and buttered new potatoes. The guests couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous grub and were particularly impressed by our Italian-inspired charcuterie boards and tasty dessert options. Even the ordinarily fussy guests, who Jeff and Annie had expressed concerns about feeding, thoroughly enjoyed the meal!
