Last Sunday was one of those days that reminds us exactly why we love what we do. The British weather was on our side and the sun was shining as couples arrived full of excitement, and the atmosphere was filled with both creativity and inspiration at the beautiful Grendon Lakes. The Grendon Lakes Wedding Fair, held on 26th April, brought together a selection of local suppliers and engaged couples, who were ready to turn their visions of their big day into a reality. And, of course, Hog Roast Northampton was right at the heart of it.
From the moment doors opened at 11am, there was already a flow of couples waiting to explore everything the fair had to offer. With over 20 exhibitors attending, the event was filled with ideas, from photography to dresses and venues, couples were able to see how their wedding could all come together. But if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s this: no wedding is complete without unforgettable food and that’s where our team at Hog Roast Northampton came in.

Throughout the day, our stand quickly became quite popular and not just because of the delicious aromas drifting across the venue! Our stand was equipped with freshly prepared samples, giving couples a real taste of what their wedding catering could be like. We also had so many conversations with couples at all stages of planning. Some had only just started thinking about their wedding menu, while others were finalising those last important details. What they all had in common was the desire for something memorable, flexible and stress-free, something our team are experts in.
