This past weekend saw the Hog Roast Northampton team head out to the beautiful Grendon Lakes where we provided stylish catering for the wedding of the lovely David and Katie.
Though the summer wedding season is more or less at an end, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still a few dates left on our calendar. Even with summer at an end, there is typically a bit of bleed over into September with wedding dates as so many venues get so busy that you just have to take a spot wherever you can get it. The good news for David and Katie is that a touch of the summer weather still remained for their special day, which was brilliant considering the venue they had and the wonderful outdoor grounds that they had to explore and celebrate in.
As the Hog Roast Northampton team arrived we knew right away we were onto a winner. The place was done up brilliantly; an excellent blue theme that had the venue looking resplendent especially with the shimmering blue of the lakes as a backdrop. It’s only made us all the more excited to be returning to Grendon Lakes again in October where we will be exhibiting our services at their very special wedding fair and showcase on the afternoon of the 4th. We’ll have hog roast samples and plenty of information for you so that you can get your event set up at Grendon Lakes and have the catering of Hog Roast Northampton at your special day, just like David and Katie.
You too could enjoy a highly stylised menu much like theirs. David, Katie, and 80 of their closest friends and family enjoyed our delicious southern slow roast. With the calm of the lakes, it was on us to add a bit of spice into the day with our slow roasted barbecue and hot delights. Guests tried their hand at our hottest hot pepper sauce to go with their Cajun spiced chicken, BBQ pork butt, and Texas style beef brisket. For some much needed cooling , creamy mac and cheese, seasonal veg, and a medley of regular and sweet potato fries.
