Hog Roast Duston had the honour of catering for a surprise 60th birthday celebration at St Crispin Social Club in Northampton last Sunday, just before the bank holiday. With 100 guests gathered to celebrate such a special milestone and a serve time of 3pm, the afternoon was full of laughter from the moment people arrived. The guest of honour’s friends and family kept the birthday surprise their best kept secret, until they walked through the doors to a big cheer from everyone inside. For this celebration, our team served up a whole roasted pig complete with flavoursome homemade stuffing. The aroma alone had guests gathering around in anticipation and the succulent pork was slow roasted for hours, probably well before the guests even began getting ready! The meat was perfectly paired with a fresh and colourful selection of sides, including creamy coleslaw, mixed salad, tomato and mozzarella salad and buttery new potatoes. It was the perfect menu for a relaxed afternoon party, offering something for every guest to enjoy.
