Hog Roast Hardingstone were delighted to be asked to cater at lunchtime for around 80 very hungry lorry drivers and office staff as an informal get together for the local logistics and distribution company, Zenith who clearly had food on their minds! We had already successfully provided catering for Zenith at their Luton site so we were extra pleased that they were so happy with our food and service there that they wanted us to come back and do the same in Northampton.
Hog Roast Hardingstone has a range of 5 different menus for this type of event and can cater for all tastes; in this case the client wanted Our Firm Favourite Classic Slow Roasted Hog served in a Roll or Wrap which is a common choice for informal events like this where people can network together (…basically have a good natter!) whilst enjoying fabulous and delicious hot food. Other choices on our menus include other informal and more formal dining and all have a wide selection of food to cater for all tastes.
We arrived nice and early as the client wanted us to serve at 1pm and it was already a gloriously sunny morning when we began to unpack and set up. We knew that we were in for a hot one – there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the temperature was already hitting 20 degrees – once we got the roast going, we knew that this temperature was going to soar!
Once we started serving, the temperature was up to 30 degrees and our customers loved it with plenty of very complimentary feedback about the quality of the food and our friendly and professional service… but mainly about the golden crackling and juicy, tender, lean meat!
The event ran without any hitch as you would expect and, as occurs on many events like this where there are leftovers, we made the rest of the rolls up with the remaining meat for the diners to take them away with them; Hog Roast Hardingstone were very proud to contribute to the success of this event.
