Hog Roast Harpole Can Accommodate Your Every Need

Weddings and birthday’s and Christening’s, oh my! With COVID-19 restrictions set to ease even further come the 17th of May here in England, our team at Hog Roast Harpole are beginning to look forward to the busy months of bookings that lie ahead. And near the end of next month, we are scheduled to handle a wedding reception for loved up couple Jessica and Reece!

The pair, who pre-booked their all-important celebration with us back in January of this year, had asked for one of our flavoursome slow roasts to complete their special day. And with the help of catering managers, Ben and Beth, they were able to finalise their order for our gorgeous Alfresco Menu, which will be perfect for their more intimate guest list of 30 people.

As the latest addition to the Hog Roast Harpole portfolio, the Alfresco Menu promises an entirely modern dining solution, composed of an Italian-inspired antipasti platter to start, followed by a slow-cooked, free-range pig with fresh and colourful salads, homemade gourmet coleslaw and fluffy potato sides. The menu also includes a plant-based option (for which Reece and Jessica had chosen our BBQ pulled jackfruit wraps smothered in a smokey glaze) followed by a duo of delicious desserts to conclude the meal.

Like many of our first-time client’s are, Jessica and Reece had been amazed by the ease of placing a booking with us, and as the lockdown rules continued to evolve and change over the few weeks after their initial booking was settled, the pair were so pleased to discover our willingness to adapt our service in the lead up to their event. For this engaged couple, this meant they could double their guest list from 15 people to 30, in accordance with the latest guidelines, with absolute ease thanks to the accomodating attitude of Hog Roast Harpole.

In addition to handling the food on the day, we’ll also be in charge of providing and setting up the marquee, dining furniture and laying out the crockery and cutlery for the guests, saving Reece and Jessica the trouble of one more things to worry about. We can’t wait to let you know how it goes!
