At Hog Roast Kettering we just don’t want the summer to end. It may be September now, but we are clinging onto these dwindling days of sunshine and warmth before the nights draw in and the cold of the winter and autumn sets in. Until then, we’ll be keeping up the spirit of summer as best we can be catering as many barbecues we can in the meantime.
And clearly we are not alone in this mission, as just this week the Hog Roast Kettering team had the pleasure of serving for the staff at Alpro here in Kettering with a glorious summer barbecue lunch. Alpro have become a valued corporate client of ours over the last few years. Like many local businesses, they have come to rely on our services fairly regularly for their big staff events and corporate celebrations. With over 200 staff members to feed this time around, it is easy to see why they have come to a catering team like Hog Roast Kettering, as we are renowned for bringing quality and quantity together. Our reputation over the last few decades has seen many big names come our way from the biggest global industries as well as smaller local upstarts. Alpro being one of the most recognisable names in plant based products easily falls into the former – we couldn’t be any prouder to have them as a repeat client.
For this very special summery lunch it of course had to be our gourmet barbecue. We brought the 200-strong team the works with our barbecue, grilling up fresh gourmet burgers, Thai spiced chicken kebabs, fresh pulled pork delivered from our signature hog roast, veggie burgers, and grilled veg and halloumi skewers. All options were also available with our nicely fried onions and cheese. To retain even more of that fresh summer feel, we also had refreshing summer sides such as our seasonal leafy green salad, our gourmet slaw, and a colourful medley of regular and sweet potato fries.
By our books, this goes down as another happy service for a happy corporate client – one that the Hog Roast Kettering team will see again soon too!
