The Hog Roast Northfield team are preparing for an extra special festive lunch as the staff at Stratstone Jaguar Land Rover Milton Keynes, welcome us on the 16th December to serve up our delicious Christmas menu, for 80 of their hungry staff members.
Before we get to the food, it’s worth stopping to appreciate the company hosting this celebration. Jaguar’s roots go back to 1922, when it was founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company. Over the decades, it became known for performance vehicles with a distinctive design identity.
Our catering manager Ben and the Hog Roast Northfield team have confirmed a tasty festive menu, one that will balance tradition with options for everyone involved. The show stopper of the event will be a whole roasted free-range pig, slow roasted on site for hours before the serve time of 12:30pm. To perfectly compliment the meat, it will be served with fresh apple sauce and homemade sage and onion stuffing. We always ensure that all guests are considered, therefore everyone can enjoy our festive menu, no matter what their dietary requirements are. The main event for any of the vegetarian/vegan staff members will be grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, served with wraps, a tzatziki dip, and a sweet chilli sauce.
Of course, no seasonal roast is complete without all of the sides and trimmings! The deserving staff at Jaguar will be spoilt for choice when personalising their plate on their lunch break, they will be able to add a variety of sides including: Yorkshire pudding, homemade cauliflower cheese, a seasonal vegetable medley, rich gravy, pigs in blankets and roasted new potatoes. If you’re anything like our team, you will also love a sweet treat, which is why after the savoury feast, there’s always room for something sweet. Both indulgent and comforting, we will be serving up a chocolate Yule Log served with fresh cream.
It’s the kind of menu that fits a festive workplace gathering, with plenty to choose from and seasonal favourites that we know will disappear quickly.
