Hog Roast St Neots Was Proud To Help The Property Angels Foundation With Their Charity Ball!

The Property Angels Foundation is a fantastic local charity that does a lot of great work for families affected by domestic violence in and around St Neots, Huntingdon, and St Ives.

As well as directing individuals to qualified professionals, boosting public awareness and raising money for domestic abuse shelters nearby, The Property Angels Foundation recently launched their new project ‘Halo’. This incredible project aims to provide victims with ‘back to life’ support, along with all of the things they need to make a house a home.

Hog Roast St NeotsHoping to get as many people on board with project Halo as possible and raise vital funds for the cause, The Property Angels Foundation co-founder, Caroline, had decided to organise a charity fundraiser ball.

180 people attended this incredible event, which was held at The Priory Centre, and Hog Roast St Neots had the utmost pleasure of catering for everyone!

Matching the tone of the occasion, Caroline had asked us to serve one of our more formal menu plans. This consisted of a canapé selection, followed by a traditional hog roast, a veggie/vegan option, a trio of fresh salads and new potatoes.

As always, our catering manager, Ben, took the lead on this event, and he and the Hog Roast St Neots team arrived at The Priory Centre long before any of the guests did. Using their time wisely, the team cooked up a flavourful hog roast with crackling, stuffing and applesauce, grilled veggie and halloumi kebabs, sides and, for the canapes, handmade gourmet sausages, Scottish smoked salmon, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini and a vegetarian-friendly Indian Selection.

Hog Roast St NeotsWhen the doors opened later that evening, the guests came flooding in, and, as well as being greeted by Hog Roast St Neots’ bountiful buffet of tasty foods, they were immediately taken aback by the number of entertainment options that surrounded them!

Caroline had gone all out in a bid to make the night as memorable as possible and had organised for opera singers, dancers and table magicians to perform their talents. There was also a casino and photo spot where guests could have their pictures taken by a professional photographer.

With it being a charity ball, Caroline also played some awareness videos, which reminded everyone of the fantastic cause they were there to support.

Hog Roast St Neots’ tasty food and Caroline’s planned activities had everyone in great spirits all evening, and, bringing everyone together, the England Vs. France game was shown on screen.
