Hog Roast Daventry was recently asked by Beth at JRM Group to cater for an event that they were holding in Daventry for around 60 people; the organisation is a popular employer in this area and Beth wanted something a little different for the event. Our Catering Manager Ben liaised with Beth to discuss numbers and menu choice and with a wide range of menus to choose from for this type event, Beth was clear that this would be an informal event and our Hog in a Roll option would be the most appropriate allowing guests, staff and other invitees to mingle and chat whilst enjoying delicious food.
Hog Roast Daventry regularly delivers catering for private parties and weddings alongside corporate event hospitality and we are renowned for very high-quality food and professional, adaptable service. For all events, it is crucial to have a wide range of menus as clients’ expectations are often quite different ranging from formal dining to informal paper plate events and from less than 100 participants to over 500. Alongside our delicious food and outstanding service that we always provide, is our ability to adapt our menus to any clients’ requirements; whether that be budgetary or dietary and whilst in this case, our standard Hog in a Roll fare was exactly what was wanted, we are regularly asked to tailor our menus to suit. We truly believe that we can cater for any situation and any guests and can prepare, deliver and serve a wide range of alternatives; for example – vegetarian, vegan, wheat free, Halal, alongside our traditional hog roast.
We arrived in plenty of time, liaised with Beth to sort serving time and setup arrangements and started up the hog roast around an hour before serving; once the hog roast was up to temperature, the guests arrived for their food with many commenting how tasty it was and how amazing the crackling tasted with many coming back for seconds!
