A mouth-watering menu from Hog Roast King’s Sutton

The sun was shining over the May Bank Holiday weekend, the perfect weather for gatherings and of course BBQ’s! Hog Roast King’s Sutton has the ultimate gourmet BBQ menu and over this weekend Eleanor had booked it in – lucky her!

Hog Roast King’s Sutton’s catering manager Ben travelled to Milton Keynes last Sunday to provide the most amazing BBQ spread to celebrate Eleanor’s daughter’s 18th birthday. A cosy and intimate 25 friends and family arrived for the occasion giving the birthday girl an afternoon to remember.

Hog Roast King's SuttonBy the 4pm serve time, the guests were hungry and therefore grateful for the delicious spread and so many choices! Hog Roast King’s Sutton’s gourmet BBQ menu includes 100% flavoursome British beef burgers, flavour-filled sausages, meaty marinated BBQ spareribs and zesty-flavoured chicken kebabs. All the meat is sourced at a local family run butcher’s, who have won the country’s best butcher sausages for the past few years! To accompany the tasty burgers, Ben had brought some cheddar and chilli cheese pieces to create a mouth-watering cheeseburger and some sliced onions for the sausages.

The BBQ menu also includes two salads and a mixture of both original and sweet potato fries. The chips are fried fresh on site to ensure a crisp exterior and fluffy interior and Eleanor had added on two more salads to the menu. The salads included mixed salad, a simple yet enjoyable dish, coleslaw, prepared fresh on site making a crunch with a zesty finish, tomato and mozzarella, a crowd pleaser with the creamiest buffalo mozzarella and sweetest on the vine cherry tomatoes, and Thai salad, a tangy, colourful, and flavour-filled salad that went down a treat.

Eleanor had informed Ben of three guests before the event, these enjoyed Cajun-spiced Mediterranean vegetable skewers in a light wrap with a drizzle of sweet chilli sauce. They could also enjoy the mixture of chips as well as the mixed and Thai salad.

Sounds like an incredible feast served onto environmentally friendly bamboo plates with wooden cutlery.
