In June, Hog Roast Kettering catered for a corporate lunch for StarTech. The event took place at Gowerton Road, Northampton, and we served our menu outside to make the most of the great weather. The event was hosted for 40 staff members and was a great way for the team to connect, recharge, and celebrate their hard work. For the lunch, it was decided that our Southern Slow Roast menu would be perfect for the occasion since it has plenty of different dishes for the whole team to enjoy.
On the day of the lunch, the Hog Roast Kettering team arrived at the venue in the morning and got to work on preparing for the midday serving time. We started by slow-roasting the main dishes, which included a BBQ beef brisket, whole-roasted Cajun chickens, and a minted lamb joint. These dishes were served in fresh bread rolls and wraps, with gluten-free rolls available upon request. For meat-free guests, we also provided vegetable and halloumi skewers. Additionally, we provided a variety of side dishes, including roasted baby new potatoes, a Greek salad, corn cobettes, and creamy mac and cheese. We served our menu buffet style, which was ideal since it allowed all 40 guests to create their perfect lunch from the dishes we had on offer. Our lunch was a big success and it was great to see the team enjoying a well-deserved break after so much hard work!
