Leah and her fiancé got engaged this June whilst enjoying a quiet weekend away with their two dogs. Now that they are back home, they are planning the perfect engagement party to celebrate the occasion with all of their friends and family. The pair have been together for over six years now and they know that their families will be over the moon with the engagement, so the party is essential to begin the celebrations! The event will take place at their home this July, with Hog Roast Kettering catering for the occasion. We have been hired to serve a classic hog roast for the party, which is a simple yet incredibly versatile menu, making it the perfect choice for the occasion.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Kettering team will arrive at the private venue in the morning and set up our catering station in the garden. We will get to work by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once ready, it will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside all of the traditional trimmings, including sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, ad crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a fresh green leaf salad, to ensure that our menu is varied and delicious.
