We’ve all seen the dreaded Reddit horror stories of what can happen when weddings go horribly wrong and while a wardrobe malfunction, a floral disaster or indeed a catering nightmare might make for an amusing story to tell the grandkids in years to come, at Hog Roast Harborough we pride ourselves on delivering a flawless service that our clients will be able to look back on with fond memories for the rest of their lives. With decades worth of experience at the forefront of the hog roast industry, our hands-on catering team tackles each event with the same level of enthusiasm and professionalism which is what makes us the first choice for many newlyweds-to-be.
For lovebirds Louise and Martin who had their hearts set on a delicious hog roast feast, there was no one they would rather have cater for their winter wedding than Hog Roast Harborough! After discussing our wide variety of options with catering duo Ben and Beth, the couple opted for our crowd-pleasing classic hog roast menu as it offered the more relaxed and laid back vibe they were hoping to achieve.
The day of the wedding saw Syston Rugby Club transformed into a stunning reception venue with clusters of tables dotted around the spacious function room; and keeping things personal to the couple, the crisp white tablecloths had been adorned with adorable ” mint to be ” polo mints and mason jar centrepieces. Having arrived with plenty of time to spare before the wedding party were scheduled to arrive, Hog Roast Harborough quickly set up the cooking equipment near the back of the room before getting started on preparing the whole hog to be slow-roasted.
Several hours later, the buffet of succulent pulled pork, crispy crackling, savoury stuffing and grilled veggie skewers with optionable haloumi was complete; and the guests were more than eager to get stuck in! For Louise and Martin, their entire day had been a dream come true, and they were especially thankful to Hog Roast Harborough for delivering an outstanding meal and exceptional service which even the fussiest guests couldn’t seem to resist.
