It’s not every day that Hog Roast Elton is hired to cater corporate catering for 60 guests at Warrington Grade Separation, but it is where their latest catering event took place. Catering Managers Beth and Ben worked closely together to make a delicious buffet that would be hearty and filling, enough to make sure that the hard workers would be able to keep working after their lunch.
Robert Hall, Managing Director booked the catering for the hard workers and selected Hog Roast Elton’s generic Menu 3 to feed his staff. There was something for everyone in this menu, including the tasty, soft, gluten free rolls that could be enjoyed by all.
There were platters of grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, a vegan option of truly tempting BBQ pulled jackfruit and a selection of fresh, tasty salads. The main attraction (that Hog Roast Elton is definitely well-known for making) was a Classic Hog Roast. This was a large succulently slow roasted pig complete with, crispy crackling, homemade stuffing and a tangy apple sauce. It was a massive buffet with tasty dishes that were appealing for every dietary requirement and taste.
Not only did the catering package the client paid for cover the cost of the food, the Hog Roast Elton team also provided the high quality reusable wooden crockery and cutlery for the guests to use. The food was created fresh at the outdoor venue, Ben and Beth worked together under the catering gazebo to create the whole buffet in time for the 1pm serving time.
Once the buffet had been enjoyed by all the guests, Ben and Beth discreetly tidied away. They took with them all the rubbish made from the event, this would then be disposed of safely and responsibly by the team.
The hard workers thoroughly enjoyed their lunch, and their boss (who paid for the catering) was delighted that the food had been such a treat for them all. Hog Roast Elton were all very pleased by the reaction from their clients and guests, it was as great as they had hoped.
