This weekend we joined Ella and Rob at their beautiful wedding at Wilobe Farm Barn. The barn, which was hand built by the owner, looks over a lake and really is the perfect setting for an English summer wedding. We love catering for a wedding and Hog Roast Olney were ready to feed 150 hungry guests led by Catering Managers Ben and Beth. We offer a wide range of packages for your big day but can happily alter them to suit your needs.
After the ceremony, the guests entered the barn and our team served the drinks reception. Ella and Rob had provided Pimms with strawberries and cucumber, the perfect summer tipple! The wedding had a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere and to add to this the couple decided to offer their guests an afternoon buffet of tea and scones with jam and cream. Hog roast Olney provided all the china crockery, cutlery, urns, milk and sugar to make sure the tea service had everything they needed on the day. We started serving the hog roast around 5pm and guests were able to help themselves to a range of meats, side dishes, salads and bread served buffet style. There were also vegetarian and vegan options available to ensure everyone was catered for. Guests filled their plates, one lady even told us how it was the “most delicious wedding meal” she’d ever had! Great feedback from happy customers is something that we always love to hear!
Around 7:30pm another 30 evening guests arrived and Hog Roast Olney served a cheese and biscuits course with a wide range of cheeses, grapes and celery sticks. Everyone had a fantastic day and our catering managers commented “It was an absolute pleasure catering for Ella and Rob’s wedding, the new Mr and Mrs Rass! An exciting menu for a really lovely couple, consisting of scones, reception drinks, wedding breakfast and evening reception food”. We wish the happy couple all the best!
