On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Potterspury team arrived at the office and began to prepare our menu for the midday serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog for around five hours, allowing it to cook evenly to perfection. Once ready, it was carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious and filling main dish. Alongside the mains, we also served homemade chips and a selection of fresh salad dishes to create a varied and nutritious buffet lunch for everyone to enjoy.
